Newer houses in upper-income neighborhoods, “A” rated apartment communities, commercial properties with 90% occupancy — those can earn you a steady 4-8% return, more or less, depending on your market. SAFE. There are thousands of real estate professionals all over the country who can handle the normal deals. You don’t need us for that and we don’t do those deals anyway.
Our experience is with the rougher properties, the older neighborhoods, the ugly houses, the projects at 30% occupancy — the problem deals with hair on them.
